Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic tutor, ideally holding a relevant teaching qualification, to course lead our Supported Internship Programme. You should be able to motivate and provide outstanding support for learners and have the professionalism to liaise with our Business Development Team and linked Employers. Extensive knowledge of your subject area is essential along with strengths in communication, differentiation, and behaviour management. We will need you to be self-motivated with a dedication to student achievement, and have exceptional organisational and planning skills to coordinate job placements. Applicants must hold a full driving licence.

Previous experience of working within a fast paced environment where change is a constant feature is desired as well as being adaptable and willing to work occasional weekends and evenings if needed.

The role is primarily based at our Burton Campus, however, the successful candidate will be expected to also travel to placements to assess learners. Therefore the ability to be able to independently travel is a requirement.

Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
