Position: Pipe Fitter Welder

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the manufacturing and assembly of company products as per production drawings and specifications.
  • Perform welding and fabrication of components and assemblies.
  • Adhere to predetermined timelines and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Identify and report defects or deficiencies in raw materials and components that could impede the production process.
  • Highlight opportunities for reducing production costs and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work processes in compliance with the company’s Quality Management System.
  • Conduct mechanical assembly tasks.
  • Form, fit, and assemble pipes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in welding and fabrication, particularly TIG welding of stainless steel.
  • Possess knowledge of welding principles and equipment, including amperage and gas flow settings for various weld types and material thicknesses.
  • Preferred experience in welding piping and pipe fittings.
  • Exhibit sound mechanical knowledge or relevant practical experience.
  • Interpret and work from schematic drawings.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation with excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with basic assembly techniques such as crimping, wiring, and press fit jointing.
  • Ability to utilise a variety of hand tools, including drilling, tapping, and cutting implements.
