- Providing maintenance support across all departments, under the guidance of the Department Head.
- Assisting production to ensure uninterrupted output.
- Promptly addressing machinery failures and breakdowns, including fault finding and repair of electronic and electrical systems.
- Conducting planned maintenance tasks to optimise production availability.
- Programming PLCs and upgrading control panels for automated systems.
- Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
- Utilising maintenance software for task management and updates.
- Supporting Service Engineers/Contractors as needed.
- Contributing ideas for continuous improvement within the Maintenance Department.
- Enhancing control systems and installing new equipment.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and introducing updates for efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with insurance, regulations, and safety audits across all departments.
- Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions.
- Experience in supporting a fast-paced production environment.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in a production support role.
- Strong electronic and electrical aptitude, with the ability to diagnose machine faults.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical control systems, instrumentation, PLC programs, and systems.
- Discipline, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with personnel at all levels.
