Time Appointments are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading business based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds who are looking for a Technical Co-ordinator to join their team.

This is an important role that involves progressing installation and remedial opportunities within the business.

Key Duties:

  • Gathering necessary information from engineer on site to formulate a quote.
  • Formulate quotes.
  • Liaising with customers regarding quotes and payment terms, amending quotes as necessary.
  • Requesting quotes from merchants & access equipment providers to ensure accurate materials pricing.
  • Agreeing dates and rates with installers.
  • Confirming availability with tenants.
  • Ensuring the system has correct components, values, engineers, purchase order numbers, invoicing details and works orders attached to the job.
  • Update customer portals with correct booking information where necessary.
  • Ordering parts from plumbers merchants.
  • Communicate with Engineers.
  • Confident in calling customers to advise of any issues and authorize amendments to the quotes/installation if required.
  • Organise the ordering of parts to site if required.
  • Take pre-authorized payments for installations.
  • Register the installations with manufacturers & building control.
  • Organising audits of installers where necessary.

Previous Skills & Experience:

  • In-depth understanding of industry regulations, safety standards and best practices.
  • Ability to delivery high quality work and meet deadlines.
  • Well organised and great attention to detail.
  • Motivated self-starter who has a strong sense of initiative and drive.
