We have a rare and exciting opportunity on our books for a Logistics Manager to join one of our fantastic clients in their Head Office on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds.
The role is to Manage and oversee all aspects of transportation across multiple sites with day-to-day control of the Yard, Warehouse and Production teams.
Your core responsibilities are:
- Staff Management: Conduct staff performance reviews, provide training, implement changes to ensure seamless logistic operations.
- Department Performance: Monitor and report invoices and transport costs, analyse logistics performance to improve where possible, manage relationships with 3rd party couriers and partners.
- Daily Routing: Mange and organise daily routes, oversee transport operations for each site, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods.
- Vehicle Maintenance and Compliance: Manage and oversee the maintenance and repairs to comply with regulations and safety standards.
