- Prepare sales quotes and follow up with customers, collating feedback.
- Create job files and input data into the company system.
- Check file documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Handle origin/destination Customs clearance entries.
- Monitor shipment progress and update the system accordingly.
- Liaise with customers to ensure their needs are met.
- Schedule collections and deliveries, creating job sheets.
- Confirm jobs and generate job sheet instructions.
- Negotiate supplier rates and authorise purchase invoices.
- Handle sales invoicing and monitor profit & loss calculations.
- Provide general office and administrative support to Managers and Departments as required.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good computer and literacy skills.
- Confident and polite communication skills.
- Organised with the ability to work independently.
- Initiative to implement own processes where required.
- Good customer care and liaison skills.
