We are a family run Italian/Mediterranean restaurant just outside Manchester, in an area called Tottington. We are well established for over 30 years, with a beautiful restaurant, cocktail bar and piano bar/function room. We have an outstanding team, with great working morale. Our head chef has recently retired, and we are looking for an ideal replacement. We have accommodation available only 200 yards from the restaurant for the right candidate.Â
This is a permanent, full time position, with competitive salary, accommodation, and bonus’. We work Wednesday - Sunday, with Mondays and Tuesdays off.Â
The ideal candidate must have experience running an Italian kitchen. And must have knowledge of all aspects of Italian cuisine, mainly meat, fish and pasta.Â
We have an immaculate kitchen, and great kitchen staff, including full time starter chef, pizza chef & pasta chef.Â
The selected candidate will be expected to maintain food & kitchen hygiene and safety. Design and Work with weekly specials and seasonal menus, as well as the a’la carte menu. And will be given a fair amount of freedom to design and try new things.Â
