As an Estimator you will play a crucial role in our success by providing accurate cost estimates for construction projects. You will collaborate closely with our project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to analyze project requirements, evaluate costs, and prepare detailed estimates. Your insights and expertise will ensure that our projects are financially viable and competitive in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and insights.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to generate accurate cost breakdowns and pricing.
• Conduct thorough research on materials, labour, and equipment costs to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Present estimates to management and participate in bid reviews and negotiations.
• Track and update cost data throughout the project life cycle to monitor budget adherence.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have experience dealing with 278 Works.
• Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and current market trends.
