FINANCE MANAGER - CASH & FUNDING - £40,000 - £45,000 - BURY - PERMANENT - HYBRIDWith multiple accreditations including best company to work for, ranking high as top employers in the Northwest region, awarded gold status as Investors in People and a Silver accreditation in We Invest in Wellbeing .... this is certainly an employer of choice!!With a marked increase in business and with significant growth plans this pivotal commercial role will succeed the current Funding Manager who now becomes Group Treasury Manager.It will take a highly commercial and ambitious finance manager to manage this funding team to ensure group treasuring and funding targets are met.The role plays a key part in the month-end cycle and will be responsible for reviewing and sign off completed reconciliation for funder accounts as well as preparing P&L analysis and commentary to support management accounts, internal board reporting and additional MI requirements for the funding partners.As the largest P&L cost to the business keen diligence and commercial awareness is needed to ensure both funding and cash activities are optimised for business and financial performance.Significant cash volumes of c£260M per month run through group accounts which will require careful planning and daily management, this is part of the role where you will be able to demonstrate proficiency and experience.Managing a team of three you will need to be a leader who can empower and develop their skills and career advancement as part of the day job!A recognised professional accounting or treasury qualification or strong technical accounting coupled with analysis, reporting and forecasting skills will be key to success in this role.Benefits include attractive pension scheme, loyalty bonus, generous holiday allowance including options to buy and sell, Private BUPA Healthcare, study support to name just a few of many more!Call Sam Nixon for an immediate interview 0161-676-4878
