Proficiency in using industrial airless spray-painting equipment would be a benefit. Full training will be given to those who do not have the required skills. Attention to detail is key as you complete unit preparation, and your knowledge of spray-painting techniques and workspace maintenance will make a significant impact. You will be required to undertake the role of abrasive blasting to meet the requirements of the department. Full training will be given to those who do not have the required skills.
Your daily responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including maintaining site welfare cabins, containers, and towable units. Collaborating with other production and repair departments will be an integral part of the role as we meet growing operational demands and drive progress within our team.

Hours: 39.5 hrs basic
- Monday – Thursday 6:30am - 15:45pm / Friday 6:30am - 12:30pm
Salary: £12.54 / hr to 14.50 / hr dependant on experience.

You’ll be responsible for:
- To interpret production schedules and working examples, to achieve the finish required for our products, in line with safety, quality and delivery standards,
- To maintain a safe working environment, highlighting any concerns and assisting to better our environment,
- Operate and maintain Industrial airless spray-painting equipment, tools, and machinery in accordance with best practices.
- Demonstrate adaptability and maintain productivity when faced with changes in work tasks or the work environment, effectively adjusting to new structures, processes, or requirements.
- Operate and maintain Industrial Sand Blasting Equipment in accordance with SSOW once fully trained.
- Display self-motivation and take initiative to achieve results without constant prompting from others.
- Foster collaboration and teamwork, working cooperatively with colleagues towards a common goal.
- Approach your job role in a professional manner, always exhibiting a high level of professionalism.
- Attain a superior level of finish by visually inspecting materials before painting.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to identify and address any obvious finishing defects.
- Adhere to a quality checking system to consistently produce work of high standards.
- Carry out & focus on 5s principles to continually improve organisation, cleanliness & standardisation of the workplace.
We’re looking for someone with these essentials:
- Experience with High-Volume low-pressure spray painting.
- Experience Undertaking paint preparation.
- Achieving results
- Perform within a team.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
These qualities would be a great help:
- Experience within a hire repair/ reactive repair background.
- Experience within the site welfare sector.
- Industrial painting qualification
- Forklift truck licences.
- Sand Blasting experience.
- Willingness to work overtime if required due to the hire aspect of the business.
