Customer Service Representative

Do you have effective customer facing administration experience? Do you consider yourself to be IT literate? Are you based in or around Caerphilly?

If the answer is "Yes", then DS Smith is looking for someone like you to join as a temporary Customer Service Representative, to support in the answering of emails and phone calls.

Role - Customer Service Representative

Pay - 12.82ph (25,000 per annum)

Location- DS Smith Head Office, Ty Gwrydd, 11 Beddau Way, Caerphilly CF83 2AX

Hybrid working available after training: Mon,Tue and Fri home based, Wed and Thu office based

Shift pattern- Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week, 08:30-17:00 with one hour unpaid lunch

Duration- one month initially with the possibility of an extension

Start date - ASAP (within 1 week)

Responsibilities:

• Receiving inbound calls from customers to be actioned within defined SLAs
• Responding to and actioning customer emails
• Updating customer portal as needed
• Creating orders as per service contracts
• Arranging collection of materials
• Organising delivery slots for the arrival of materials
• Producing and issuing delivery notes
• Creating export documentation packs
• Providing reports to customers on a weekly basis
• Identifying the reason for wasted journeys
• Ad hoc tasks as requested by management

Experience needed:

• Prior experience in a customer facing administrative role
• Capacity to operate with minimal supervision
• Strong IT literacy skills with MS Office, especially Word and Excel
• Experience with in house IT systems
• Confident telephone manner
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
