Accounts Assistant (FTC until Jan 2025)
Our client is a well-established, company based near Caistor. They are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a fixed term contract until January 2025.
Main Purpose of Accounts Assistant Role:
The purpose of this role is to assist the accounting team with day to day duties.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:
Administer and process petty cash in AX
Reconciliation
Due Diligence for new suppliers and customers
Managing supplier and internal manager queries
Posting of journals
Process Expenses in Notilus and subsequent on to AX
Maintain proper approval/processing of invoices in Papergreen on to AX
Upload and verify invoices on Papergreen
Collate Intrastat information (for Vat return purposes)
Raising of monthly recharge invoice
Assisting the accounts team and post-room function (post/franking) with other duties as required
The Perfect Accounts Assistant Will Have:
Strong Accountancy knowledge
Experience working in a similar role
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
Able to work under own initiative
Flexible to cover different duties
