About the Role
As the Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Quantity Surveyor in all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of tender and contract documentation
- Conducting cost analysis and cost forecasting
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Monitoring project costs and identifying areas for cost optimization
- Assisting with the evaluation of contractor performance and payment applications
Key Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the house building industry
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software such as MS Excel and AutoCAD
