Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Process Manager (Food Manufacturing) for an established and successful food manufacturing company based in Callington, Cornwall.

This is an on-site based permanent role on a Salary of up to £55k DOE working Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00. This role also includes an excellent bonus package such as;

This is an instrumental role as a Process Manager where you will be responsible for the launch of process/critical path from NPD handover through to post launch review. You will be responsible for ensuring products are trialled successfully and ready for launch with all relevant documentation being in place.

You will liaise with customers, operations, supply chain, NPD and commercial to ensure the critical path is achieved.

What your day will look like as a Process Manager:

Within your department, you will be accountable and responsible for;

  • Management of Senior Process Techs, Process Techs and Packaging Techs
  • Maintain close and effective cross-functional links between Process, Development, Technical, Operations and Continuous Improvement.
  • Attend feasibility meetings and report back on any observations
  • Management of the Packaging Technologists ensuring technical specifications exist for all packaging.
  • Ensure databases are up to date at all times
  • Management of the maintenance of trial records – such as information for recipes, specifications and costings
  • Ensure recipe workflow projects are completed in line with critical path
  • Plan and manage customer pre-production visits and launces with clear plans, agendas, objectives and actions documented.

Experience required:

To be successful in your application as a Process Manager, you will need:

  • · A Degree/HND or equivalent in a science subject.
  • · Previous Technical experience of FMCG food related manufacturing operations
  • · Proven track record of managing a team and diverse technical and process activities
  • · Ability to interact with high profile customers
  • · Previous experience of retail stage and gate processes

Knowledge of cook/cool validation processes
