We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our client on the outskirt of Calne, Wiltshire. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding various metal components.

Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques- Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG welders, power tools, and hand tools- Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required standards- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Skills:- Proficient in MIG welding techniques- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings- Experience with sheet metal fabrication is preferred- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in welding processes- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately- Knowledge of stick welding is a plus
Working shift pattern:
Monday to Thursday 08:15 - 17:15
Friday 08:15 - 15:00
Hourly rate £13.00 per hour
