Our client is seeking a Fabrication Welder for their busy engineering business in Calne.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with their hands and have an analytical mind. You will be able to meet the physical demands of the job and have an eye for detail. Ideally 2 years or more experience.

Core skills:

• Ability to use variety of tools and equipment
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read blueprints and recognize welding symbols and specifications
• Knowledge of industry safety practices Be able to read engineering drawings.
• Have proven experience in putting together steel structures with little supervision.
• Have 3mm to 20mm welding experience.
• Be able to work accurately to specified dimensions.
• Be able to tack weld the steel assy.
• Be able to complete full weld if required.
• Work efficiently under pressure and to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• The personal attributes and experience to hit the ground running
