We are delighted to be partnering with a global not for profit organisation based in the city centre of Cambridge as they seek to recruit a Finance Project Assistant to join their team. This role is newly created due to business growth, and within the role you will report into the Senior Finance Business Partner. This role will be worked on a hybrid basis, with travel to the office required a minimum of once per week.

As the incoming Finance Project Assistant, you will be trained and tasked with the following duties:
- Data entry and processing via the ERP system for various projects
- Updating forecasts with the relevant Finance Business Partners
- Maintaining the financial systems and procedures
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and journals as required
- Assisting with audit preparation


As the successful candidate in this role, you will ideally possess previous experience working in a similar level accountancy role. You will also have excellent excel skills and be comfortable with data processing. You will also have an inquisitive working approach in order to excel in the analytical elements of this position. Other desirable attributes you will possess include:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Ability to prioritise workload in an efficient manner
- Keen desire to learn and develop
- Team player mentality and happy to assist others
