Polytec are looking for a Senior FPGA Design Engineer for our Cambridge based client. Responsibilities include working in a busy RandD Hardware team on a variety of infrared thermal imaging projects. The candidate should have a flexible approach and be willing to work in areas outside of their previous experience.

Requirements for this position include excellent 'A' level grades (A or B) plus a degree in Electronics or Physics, at least 7 years' significant experience in FPGA design and the ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of the principles involved. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability and enthusiasm to find out about and work in new areas, and a demonstrable commitment to producing 'right first time' quality work is essential.
