Bartender - Clayton Hotel Cambridge

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bartender to join the resturant team here at Clayton Hotel Cambridge, to deliver expectional service across al a carte and events.

Clayton Hotel Cambridge is a 4* Deluxe hotel, situated in the heart of Cambridge, just a 1 minute walk from the train station and a 10 miniute walk into the city centre. with 160 bedrooms, a extensive resturant and 4 meeting rooms Clayton Hotel Cambridge has a lot to offer an aspiring and creative Bartender.

Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisor/Manager, the Bartender will provide a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly using their name.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food, all beverages and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.

Requirements:

• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired but not essential.
• Previous experience in a high volume/ fast paced environment.
• Previous experience in a busy food and beverage operation
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros Experience would be preferable.
