Account Manager - Media Sales - Cambridge (Hybrid Working) - £25K-£32K + CommissionWe are looking for a skilled Sales Account Manager to join an award winning publisher in their Cambridge OfficePURPOSE OF ROLE? Support growth strategy through being a valuable member of our media sales team and driving it relentlessly to achieve key targets? Contribute to our reputation for excellent customer service by providing a high-quality, responsive and agile service to internal and external clients, potential clients and advertisers? Help us achieve our overall business mission: "To create inspiring content that brings people together around our clients' brands and organisations."KEY OBJECTIVES? Develop and grow advertising and sponsorship revenues to achieve financial targets, including:? Build and manage long-term relationships with your clients? Manage and develop advertiser/sponsor accounts to achieve revenue targets across your projects? Represent the business at events and visits to clients and potential advertisers? Provide input to the Sales Director and business development team in preparing for pitches? Build and maintain effective relationships with all relevant internal departments such as editorial, production, publishing and financeKEY RESPONSIBILITIES? Achieving sales targets on all defined projects? Executing the sales strategy to ensure the achievement of KPIs? Securing new advertisers, retaining existing advertisers and expanding opportunities? Developing and following sales plans to ensure achievement of client goals and objectives? Following pricing policies, market segmentation and activity plans? Make regular reports to the MSM on performance? Provide insight on trends and opportunities in your market sector and client? Ensure strong relationships and communications with other functions (editorial, production, digital etc)? Manage the production process to ensure accuracy of artwork and deadlines are achieved?
