RELOcruitment are delighted to be working alongside an award-winning Removals & Storage Firm. They provide professional removals and storage solutions all over the globe.

They are now looking for a Sales Consultant to cover the territories of Cambridge, Colchester & Norwich and all Inbetween. Much of your time will be on the road visiting customers, your home Branch can be any of the 3 above locations.

The main purpose of the role is to grow and develop territory revenue for existing and new service lines within the brand image and deliver profitable revenue with margin expectation.

As a field and video Sales Consultant you’ll assist customers who have shown an interest in moving with our client, develop a strong relationship and instant rapport.

It’s important that you understand customers and that moving can be a daunting experience - your natural approach will ensure that customers are at ease when making important decisions.

The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience within the Removals industry. Although sales experience in relatable Industries will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate professional and responsible selling at all times.
  • Building strong relationships with customers.
  • Liaising with business partners to develop future relationships.
  • Working within the framework of a dynamic sales team both selling from site and on video.
  • Complete customer surveys via telephone, video call, self-survey, and field sales as appropriate.
  • Accurate costings via costing form and table.
  • Determining margin through factors such as move date, insurance value, competition, and customer confidence in brand.
  • Insurance sales and uplifts.
  • Introduce affiliate revenue streams.
  • Prepare and submit quotation to customer.
  • Follow up all jobs to conclusion and maintain records in Navision.
  • Work with the Operations team to plan moves to establish appropriate service standards.
  • Brief local operational team prior to move date.

Experience:

  • Previous successful field/video removals sales experience desirable.
  • Good negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build alliances and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to understand both customer and competitive environment.
  • Good networking skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
