We are currently recruiting for a Compliance, Health and Safety Manager to work for a company within the education sector.
They’re looking for someone who has a background within Health & Safety or Compliance who would be able to come into the team and hit the ground running.
Typical duties would include:
- Developing, implementing and reporting on Health & Safety standards and procedures.
- Commission health and safety audits and actioning any recommended changes.
- Review and manage any security issues within the site.
- To be a key contributor to the environmental sustainability policies.
- Assisting to inspect the site with a focus around Health and Safety risks on site.
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience in either a Health & Safety, Compliance or Quality role.
- NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
- Experience managing large budgets.
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable reporting into key stakeholders.
It would be beneficial but isn’t essential if the successful candidate had a background within the education sector.
