  • Polytec are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join the technical support team of our client based just north of Cambridge.
  • Traveling may be required for this role so you will need to have a full UK driving licence with own transport.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Receive customer calls and emails, ensuring they are logged appropriately
    • Provide high quality technical support across the whole range of company products
    • Write customer-facing documentation (application notes, FAQs)
    • Provide product training both on and off site
    • Maintenance of internal equipment, systems, and processes
  • Requirements:
    • Degree level education in an engineering or communications subject
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience in a customer support desk role in a commercial/B2B environment through working within a high-tech product development organisation
    • Experience working with digital radio communication networks and associated technologies
    • Eligibility for UK SC
    • Highly proficient in MS Office
    • Full UK driving licence with own transport
