Polytec are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join the technical support team of our client based just north of Cambridge. Traveling may be required for this role so you will need to have a full UK driving licence with own transport.
Responsibilities:
* Receive customer calls and emails, ensuring they are logged appropriately
* Provide high quality technical support across the whole range of company products
* Write customer-facing documentation (application notes, FAQs)
* Provide product training both on and off site
* Maintenance of internal equipment, systems, and processes
Requirements:
* Degree level education in an engineering or communications subject
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in a customer support desk role in a commercial/B2B environment through working within a high-tech product development organisation
* Experience working with digital radio communication networks and associated technologies
* Eligibility for UK SC
* Highly proficient in MS Office
* Full UK driving licence with own transport
