Job Title: Architectural Technician

Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 depending on experience

I am actively seeking a passionate Architectural Technician to join a thriving Architectural Practice in the picturesque city of Cambridge. They have gone from strength to strength over the last 40+ years with a number of award winning projects in sectors such as residential, sport & leisure, science and conservation. Joining this highly reputable practice will offer excellent career progression, support for professional development, a friendly work culture and a diverse portfolio of projects. This dynamic RIBA Chartered Practice have two offices across the UK and are keen to continue their growth with the addition of a driven Architectural Technician to their social team.
The successful Architectural Technician will have post qualification experience working on a range of projects being well versed in Revit with a innovative creative approach to design and strong technical abilities.
Skills, Experience, and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technician:
- Working towards MCIAT
- Degree or HND in Architectural Technology or related subject
- Extensive post qualification experience in a UK Architectural Practice
- Proficiency in Revit and other industry standard software
- Capable at producing high quality technical drawings
- Experience working across multiple sectors including mixed use, residential and education
- Boast excellent technical abilities
- Thorough knowledge of UK Building regulations
- Creative design approach
- Keen to input to company growth
- Positive proactive attitude
- Work well both independently and in a team
- Driven to continue professional development
- Passionate about incorporating sustainability
- Ideally experience in the conservation sector
- Live locally to Cambridge
