I am actively seeking a passionate Architectural Technician to join a thriving Architectural Practice in the picturesque city of Cambridge. They have gone from strength to strength over the last 40+ years with a number of award winning projects in sectors such as residential, sport & leisure, science and conservation. Joining this highly reputable practice will offer excellent career progression, support for professional development, a friendly work culture and a diverse portfolio of projects. This dynamic RIBA Chartered Practice have two offices across the UK and are keen to continue their growth with the addition of a driven Architectural Technician to their social team.

The successful Architectural Technician will have post qualification experience working on a range of projects being well versed in Revit with a innovative creative approach to design and strong technical abilities.

Skills, Experience, and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technician:

  • Working towards MCIAT
  • Degree or HND in Architectural Technology or related subject
  • Extensive post qualification experience in a UK Architectural Practice
  • Proficiency in Revit and other industry standard software
  • Capable at producing high quality technical drawings
  • Experience working across multiple sectors including mixed use, residential and education
  • Boast excellent technical abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of UK Building regulations
  • Creative design approach
  • Keen to input to company growth
  • Positive proactive attitude
  • Work well both independently and in a team
  • Driven to continue professional development
  • Passionate about incorporating sustainability
  • Ideally experience in the conservation sector
  • Live locally to Cambridge
