Job Description: Finance Manager

Salary - up to £65k based on experience

Role Overview:

As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations across multiple countries within the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be responsible for maintaining financial health, driving strategic financial planning, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of financial strategies and budgets for each country within the group.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring transparency and compliance.
  • Identify potential financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's assets and interests.
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast financial performance and allocate resources effectively to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations in all operating countries, coordinating with external tax advisors as necessary.
  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity positions, optimizing cash management practices to support operational requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, liaising with auditors and addressing any findings or recommendations.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes and systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities effectively to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights to support decision-making.

To be suitable for the Finance Manager role you will be:

  • Qualification in ACCA/CIMA or Equivalent will be advantageous
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, with a track record of success in multinational environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and cultures.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and contribute to organizational growth initiatives.
