Remuneration
- Salary - £35,000 - £42,000
- Annual performance related bonusses
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
Responsibilities
- Managing and supervising the import and export of goods from different global locations.
- Organizing the collection process through designated transportation firms.
- Working closely with clients, branch offices, international agents, and transportation providers, among other collaborators.
- Providing exceptional customer service by addressing queries and ensuring timely updates.
- Overseeing order tracking, invoicing, and managing pre-alerts from overseas offices and agents.
- Managing Customs entries as necessary.
- Monitoring shipments until their ultimate delivery.
- Managing job costing and invoicing responsibilities.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years' experience with a UK-based freight forwarding company.
- Experience in import or export operations, including air, road, or ocean shipments.
- Proficient knowledge of customs clearance procedures.
- Hands-on experience with freight-related software like Cargowise, Multifreight, etc.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
