Mechanical Estimator - Based in Cambridge - Commercial projects
One of the regions leading complete solution M&E building services companies, with a portfolio of blue-chip projects for clients across the East of England are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Estimator to be based from their office in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.
They offer a comprehensive mechanical and mechanical installation service across many sectors including Commercial, Healthcare premises and hospitals including PFIs, University and College projects.
As the Mechanical Estimator you will work within an established estimating team in preparing mechanical estimates of values up to 拢10 million, so previous experience is essential.
The Mechanical Estimator will have the following duties and responsibilities:
路 Close liaison with clients/potential clients regarding any enquiries received into the company and assigned, representing the business in a professional manner at all times.
路 Attend site surveys or tender interviews as necessary.
路 Liaise with other departments regarding completion of all information as identified as required within the enquiry.
路 Evaluate supplier and sub-contract returns to ensure compliance with the tender specification.
路 Provide ongoing assistance to the projects team if requests for the generation of variation costs are received.
Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
路 Experience within in similar position as Mechanical Estimator.
路 Mechanical qualifications.
路 Strong negotiation skills.
路 Confident communicator.
