This new role is pivotal in ensuring we can develop and implement efficient API solutions for our customer through smart technology and data-driven innovations.Maintaining reliability and efficiency youll be our primary technical support contact for our SMT Digital Machine and Site Solution portfolio.
Reporting to the Site Solutions Manager youll be providing a triage service of solution support issues. Offering expert guidance and support to internal and external customers on digital solution related inquiries youll investigate and troubleshoot software issues involving multiple API integrations. In addition, youll:
Diagnose and resolve software connectivity and functionality issues
Support on API integrations, telematic platforms and performances, WebUIs, and 3rd party platforms
Allocate and manage solution support issues with customers, internal teams and suppliers
Identify opportunities to introduce services or solutions to grow solution success
Support our customers, sales and service teams to ensure maximum uptime of digital solutions
Manage Solution subscriptions and future Saas product offerings
Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of SMTs digital offerings
Skills and Experience
Diagnosis and resolution of software issues, especially related to API feeds
A strong understanding of API concepts, protocols and data formats
Knowledge of off-highway telemetry data is ideal
Ability to explain complex technical situations to people who are not digital literate
Good communication and interpersonal skills in both written and spoken English
Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel
Customer Service mindset and proactive approach
Troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
