Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist (Python) Cambridge to £90k
Are you a tech savvy Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist looking for an opportunity to work on complex and interesting systems at the cutting edge of AI technology?
You could be progressing your career working on real-world problems within a high successful SaaS tech company that provides AI and ML products for automotive innovators to design better cars faster and achieve greater sustainability through Machine Learning.
As a Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist you will apply advanced Machine Learning and MLOps techniques to develop scalable, efficient solutions that solve real world customer problems. You'll collaborate with Agile engineering teams and write code (in Python) that is integral to the core ML components used within the production code base.
You will take ownership, working end-to-end, from liaising with both internal and external non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate complex technical concepts through to delivery.
Location / WFH:
You'll join the team in Cambridge 1-2 days a week with flexibility to work from home in a hybrid model.
About you:
- You are degree educated, having achieved a 2.1 or above in a relevant discipline
- You have strong experience of applying Machine Learning techniques to solve real-world problems
- You have strong Python coding skills and a good knowledge of software engineering best practices
- You have excellent collaboration and communication skills, you're able to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences
- Ideally you will have experience with TensorFlow and have had exposure to Gaussian Processes (GPFlow, Bayesian Optimisation or Trieste
