Technical Product Manager

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to join our Cambridge based clients cloud platform team. As a Technical Product Manager, you will bridge the gap between the development team and customers, ensuring the product aligns with customer needs. This role involves defining requirements, designing features, planning tests, and conducting product reviews. You will be a pivotal decision-maker, collaborating with global teams. 

Day to day of the role:

  • Act as the bridge between development and customers, translating customer needs into product features.
  • Define product requirements and design features that align with customer expectations.
  • Plan and oversee testing to ensure product quality and performance.
  • Review product progress and make strategic decisions to shape the product’s direction.
  • Present the product to customer groups and manage customer relationships.
  • Conduct market research to inform product strategy and long-term vision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal and marketing, to support product development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, SaaS, or PaaS products.
  • Strong ability to work with customers and turn their requests into valuable product features.
  • Data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Strong technical background with an understanding of micro-services and cloud-based architectures.
  • A degree (2:1 or higher) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Science, or Engineering.
  • Desirable: Experience in bringing a new product to market, software engineering, UI/UX design, HPC systems, or an interest in scientific advancements.
