Hiring multiple Children Support Worker in Cambridge for Special Needs Schools.

Start: Sept 2024

Salary: £13/hr

Type: Full Time (Term-Time only)(Temp to Perm)

Timings: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (32.5 hrs/weekly)

About School: Students aged 3-19 years that have Education, Health and Care Plans. The school supports a range of different needs, including moderate to severe learning difficulties, complex needs, profound and multiple learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Conditions.

Role Overview: As a Children Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a diverse range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with teachers to plan and prepare lessons that cater to individual student requirements.
  • Assisting students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and understanding.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with intimate care, physiotherapy, and feeding needs.
  • Implementing behavior management strategies and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Right To Work in the UK (NO Sponsorship provided. Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for the position)
  • Personal or professional experience working with children
  • Passion was making difference in the lives of pupils with Special Needs
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working in the UK in a care or school setting.
  • Recent gradutes from Colleges/Universities are welcome to apply as well.
