The Whey Process Operator (WPO) fixed term contract (FTC) position is a key role for ensuring the high-quality of product being processed, utilising computers to control the parameters of machinery are set, running on-going checks for key metrics, recording data on systems, along with manual responsibilities such as pipe changes, some manual carrying, and cleaning.


This is a position well suited to someone with experience utilising computers, with hands-on experience with a range of gauges, valves, meter readers, etc.


Salary: £29,858.88 per annum

Shift pattern: 3-on/3-off, days & nights, 7-7

  • Operating a process plant component to the required quality and process standards.
  • Implementing the production plan and monitoring compliance against the plan.
  • Ensuring required samples are taken for testing by the technical department.


YOU'RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE…

  • Experienced working with computer systems in a role.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding and hands-on experience working woth gauges, pressure valves, meter readers, etc.
  • Someone that has strong teamworking skills.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to learn the technical aspects of processes.
  • Able to show an understanding and willingness to comply with all food standards (GMP, health & safety etc.) consistent with working in a world class food manufacturing environment.
