Housing Maintenance Surveyor Required (Hybrid)

Location: Bedfordshire (office based in Shefford, SG17)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am till 5:00pm (37 paid hrs per week)

Pay: £290 UMBRELLA (No CIS/LTD)

Duration: 5 months, minimum

Accountable for the health, safety and condition of council owned dwellings by identification and analysis of defects leading to managing cost effective works to time, quality and budget.

Carry out surveys and inspections of council owned property to diagnose repair defects and order effective remedial works.

Prepare strategies, reports and feasibility studies into specific related subjects.

Desktop diagnosis of customer repair enquiries offering effective remedial works to reduce the number of site inspections of council owned property completed by colleagues.

Requirements:

Must be able to pass a DBS.              

Possess a driver’s license.

Looking for candidates with Housing Surveying qualifications or equivalent experience.

Experience with Disrepair would be ideal.
