We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our clients team as a Dual Home Manager for two children's homes located in Cannock.

Role Overview:

As the Dual Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of two children's homes in Cannock. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an established Registered Manager to take on a leadership position and contribute to the set-up and management of a new home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to ensure the effective operation of both homes.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and best practice standards.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, fostering a positive and supportive working environment.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including local authorities and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and effective communication.
  • Oversee the financial management of both homes, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Maintain a focus on the well-being and development of the children and young people in our care, promoting their safety, happiness, and personal growth.
  • Play a key role in the set-up and establishment of a new home, contributing to the design, planning, and implementation of processes and systems.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential setting.
  • A thorough understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong organisational and management abilities, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people.

Salary Progression:

The starting salary for this role will be £45,000, with the opportunity for progression to £55,000 upon the successful set-up and establishment of the new home within 6 - 9 months. This presents a unique opportunity for career development and advancement within our clients organisation.
