Structural Design Engineer

Location: Canterbury, Kent

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Depending on Experience)

Hunter Mason’s Client is a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy with Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil engineering as the core design disciplines. They have now identified the need for a structural engineer who has experience with design in the Civil Sector to join their rapidly expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

·Assist in the design and analysis of Structural components and systems

·Thorough working knowledge of Eurocodes

·Regeneration / steel structure experience

·Utilise Engineering software and tools for modelling and calculations

·Support project teams in the planning, execution, and completion of Structural Engineering projects

·Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, including drawings and specifications

·Participate in site visits and inspections to gain practical insights into construction processes

·Stay informed about industry trends, codes, and standards

We are looking for a candidate who is:

·Within 25 miles of Canterbury, Kent

·Ideally a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

·Experience in structural design with an emphasis on steel structures

·Strong Experience with load calculations/structural calculations

·Experience with structural design and CAD software, such as Autodesk Inventor, or Autodesk Advanced Steel.

·Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
