Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Depending on Experience)

Hunter Mason’s Client is a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy with Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil engineering as the core design disciplines. They have now identified the need for a structural engineer who has experience with design in the Civil Sector to join their rapidly expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and analysis of Structural components and systems
- Thorough working knowledge of Eurocodes
- Regeneration / steel structure experience
- Utilise Engineering software and tools for modelling and calculations
- Support project teams in the planning, execution, and completion of Structural Engineering projects
- Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, including drawings and specifications
- Participate in site visits and inspections to gain practical insights into construction processes
- Stay informed about industry trends, codes, and standards
We are looking for a candidate who is:
- Within 25 miles of Canterbury, Kent
- Ideally a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in structural design with an emphasis on steel structures
- Strong Experience with load calculations/structural calculations
- Experience with structural design and CAD software, such as Autodesk Inventor, or Autodesk Advanced Steel.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
