As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager with expertise in plumbing to join our team.

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to oversee plumbing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems and installations, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects of varying size and complexity. As a key member of our team, the Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of plumbing projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans and specifications.
  • Prepare and review project proposals, contracts, and change orders, ensuring alignment with project requirements and objectives.
  • Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services necessary for project execution, negotiating pricing and terms to achieve cost-effective solutions.
  • Coordinate onsite activities, including material deliveries, installations, inspections, and commissioning, to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, tracking key metrics such as schedule adherence, budget variance, and quality control.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing proactive measures to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and potential challenges.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on plumbing systems and installations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing plumbing projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office applications.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE, CPD) preferred but not required.
