My client is seeking a Head of HR to lead our Human Resources department within a large organisation. This strategic role encompasses organisational change, strategic projects, TUPE, payroll, HRIS, MI, and pension management. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR professional with a track record of driving HR initiatives that support business objectives.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of a comprehensive HR service to the organisation, including all aspects of HR operations and systems.
  • Drive organisational change initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the company.
  • Manage strategic HR projects, aligning them with business goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the TUPE process, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions during mergers or acquisitions.
  • Supervise the payroll function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the implementation and optimisation of HR Information Systems (HRIS) to enhance HR analytics and reporting capabilities.
  • Develop and manage Management Information (MI) systems to support decision-making processes.
  • Oversee the pension scheme, ensuring it is managed effectively and meets the needs of employees and the organisation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Head of HR or similar leadership role within a large organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of organisational change, strategic project management, and TUPE.
  • Experience overseeing payroll, HRIS, MI, and pension management.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant HR qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
