Payroll Assistant

Goldhawk Associates are currently looking for a Payroll Assistant to join a large independent firm of accountants in West Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and busy Payroll Bureau team. This is a very busy department within the firm, and they are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced role and you can successful provide flexible payroll solutions to a large variety of clients.As a firm they always pride themselves on providing a personal service to a high standard and have their clients at the forefront of their minds. As such they are looking for a friendly and professional individual who can be a part of their team,Responsibilities:Working in a team to ensure the smooth running of the payroll functionProcessing and Checking Payrolls Supporting with a portfolio of clients proving support and adviceSet up new PAYE schemesDealing with payroll queriesAuto Enrolment processingUpload auto enrolment information to a range of pension providers Processing new client onboarding Training and development of junior members of staffDealing directly with HM Revenue and Customs You will have a proven track record of having worked in a similar environment and it would be advantageous if you are CIPP qualified, if not you will be supported in this.
