Our bulk fuels client imports, stores and distributes refined petroleum products and is one of the most technologically advanced storage facilities in Europe.

They are now actively seeking an HSEQ Manager to be key part of the team in the next phase of their development.

Salary: £60-75,000 + Bonus

You will be responsible for overseeing the safe operations of this COMAH site.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Terminal Manager, the HSEQ Manager will spearhead all aspects of HSEQ across the site. We're seeking a proactive individual committed to ensuring existing processes and procedures are robust and continuously improved, aiming for industry-leading standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, refining, and implementing HSEQ processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Collaborating closely with Engineering and Operations teams to meet HSEQ expectations.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with external authorities as necessary.
  • Establishing and maintaining accident and incident reporting systems.
  • Facilitating training and ensuring HSEQ requirements are met by both staff and contractors.
  • Chairing HSEQ meetings with staff and COMAH Management.

Ideal you will have a background in managing organisations of similar size within an industrial context, preferably in the Oil & Gas or bulk liquids sector. Strong familiarity with COMAH regulations and robust HSEQ knowledge and implementation experience are essential.
