As part of their continued commitment to excellence, they are seeking a dynamic and skilled Head of Finance to join the Finance Department.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic and progressive Head of Finance to join this business in an exciting growth phase. This is a new position supporting and working closely with the FD, and there are very real progression prospects within the next 5 years.

The Role:

As Head of Finance, you will oversee all financial aspects of our organisation, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the development of sound financial strategies to support our company's goals. Your responsibilities will include:

Job Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organisational goals and objectives
  • Drive financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modelling
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insights to the Board for strategic decision-making
  • Responsible for all statutory compliance, including statutory reporting and necessary VAT/tax compliance
  • Business partnering with the senior management team
  • Lead the annual audit, liaising with external auditors
  • Monitor and develop internal controls and processes ensuring best practice
  • Cashflow monitoring and forecasting
  • Manage and develop a small finance team

Job Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • A Confident and effective communicator
  • A flexible approach to work
  • Hard working and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A continuous improvement approach
  • A proven track record of managing financial processes and delivering high quality management and reporting
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, experience of managing ERP upgrades advantageous
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance and accounting, with proven leadership skills and strategic thinking abilities.
