This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation working with a product has a genuine positive impact on the end user. The business has exciting plans to significantly increase the headcount on site due to increased market share and orders. This role will provide you with a generous benefits package including a matched 5% pension, alongside excellent soft benefits. Working in the R&D department, this role would be well suited to a senior design engineer with experience of developing new products for market.

Responsibilities

  • To provide technical leadership to R&D teams to deliver NPD project from discovery to product launch.
  • Preparing the technical file and design history file for regulatory submission.
  • Support regulatory affairs and quality activities to ensure products meet regulations.
  • Lead and support NCR and CAPA.
  • Providing line management to lesser experienced engineers.

Requirements

  • Medical Device experience is an essential for this role.
  • Experience designing electromechanical products.
  • Familiar with key standards such as ISO13485.
  • Experience leading design teams and a strong project management background.
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks would be ideal.
