As a Wastewater Engineer, you'll play a vital role in coordinating with water companies to ensure seamless connection and discharge points for designers, developers, and incumbents. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring designs meet specifications, adhere to schedules, and overcome project challenges effectively. You'll also oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of wastewater assets to industry-leading standards, including system modeling and hydraulic analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with water companies to ensure smooth connection and discharge points.
- Ensure wastewater assets meet industry standards in design, installation, and maintenance.
- Conduct technical assessments of infrastructure designs and support adoption processes.
- Collaborate with the Network Adoption Manager to ensure assets are adopted according to corporate policy and industry regulations.
- Perform water supply and wastewater modeling to ensure network suitability.
Requirements:
- Relevant engineering or scientific qualification.
- Chartered or nearing Chartered status.
- Experience in wastewater industry, particularly in asset design and installation.
- Strong project management skills.
