We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team! 

Lawray Architects is well-established, award-winning architectural practice with three studios in the UK. This role can be based in our Cardiff, London, or Wrexham studio. 

Please note our Cardiff studio is located at CF15 7AB with plans to move to a vibrant, modern studio in the centre within the next 12 months!

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create compelling promotional material including copywriting case studies, capability statements, presentations, and digital content for use across social platforms and the website.
  • Utilise InDesign, Adobe Rush, and Photoshop for content creation. Work with external graphic designers as required.
  • Create and deliver the digital marketing and social media strategy.
  • Manage media relations, write press releases, and collaborate with client and contractor communications teams for reciprocal marketing/PR activity and awards. Work with a PR agency as required.
  • Identify and manage client events, exhibitions and speaking opportunities, working closely with the Business Development Manager and admin teams.
  • Create and manage a quarterly newsletter, working closely with project leaders.
  • Deliver client-focussed bids, consulting with internal team & third-party consultants for first and second stage submissions.
  • Produce a quarterly marketing report to the Board.

Key Skills and Experience
  • Strong proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe Rush.
  • Knowledgeable in social media platforms and management tools such as Buffer, Google Analytics, Mailchimp and Eventbrite.
  • A demonstrable record of successful bid management is essential, within an architectural environment would be a distinct advantage.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the design and procurement process and an awareness of contractual matters and industry terminology.
  • Creative nature with excellent graphic skills and an eye for composition with good attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with a range of stakeholders.
  • Capable of multitasking, handling a broad range of responsibilities and working to tight deadlines.
  • Resilient and engaging.
  • Management and leadership skills.
