Assistant Showroom Manager – Cardiff


My client is seeking a dynamic driven Assistant Showroom Manager who has a strong customer service and sales background with experience of working in a high-end Bathroom, Tile, Interior Design or Kitchen showrooms.


As an Assistant Showroom Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team where you will be responsible for assisting the Showroom Manager in the day to day running of a retail showroom and management of the sales team.


Working as part of a team you will provide knowledge and sales advice to assist customers in a professional, personalised, and friendly manner, selling a portfolio of products and possess excellent communication and strong customer service skills.


Basic salary c£28,000 plus uncapped bonus, 31 days holidays, pension, staff discounts

Candidates must be able to work some weekends as part of a rota, 5 days over a 7-day period, and possess a full valid driving licence.


Candidate

  • Candidates must have a proficient level of education and be highly numerate to include Maths and English and IT literate
  • Demonstrate experience of supervising, motivating, training, and developing a team.
  • Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physically fit and able to lift various products.
  • Strong problem solver with a friendly approach
  • Highly numerate with good computer literacy
  • Continually learn about new products and ranges


Duties

  • Key holder – opening and closing the showroom.
  • Assisting the in the running of the showroom
  • Monitoring and maintaining monthly sales targets.
  • Identifying areas in the product range where improvements are required.
  • Assisting with the showroom paperwork
  • Developing in-showroom displays
  • Serve and provide customers with a high level of expertise and knowledge on various products.
  • Generating new sales through local businesses
  • Processing sales/cash handling
  • Manage showroom security/health and safety.
  • Stock replenishment and maintaining up to date POS
