  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in supporting students with BESD.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
  • Empathy, patience, and resilience when working with students facing behavioural challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and school environments.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in both Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings and mainstream settings.
