The Short-listed Candidates will be reporting to the Qualified Nursing Staff (Nursing Home) Deputy Home Manager / Home Manager (Residential Home)

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • To supervise/mentor Carer(s) and provide direct assistance to Residents in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual), and all aspects of daily living by providing support when needed, ensuring residents retain their comfort and dignity.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, doctors, and therapists, to ensure holistic care for residents.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
  • Administer medicines, and ensure correct recording of all relevant information relating to medication (after satisfactory completion of all assigned training)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Senior care role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Social Care Wales Registration

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • S/NVQ or Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent or working towards
  • Practical training certificates
