Salary:
- Regular: £25.00 per hour
- Additional Shift Rates:
- Mon - Fri 22:00-06:00: £33.25
- Saturday 06:00-22:00: £31.25
- Saturday 22:00-06:00: £37.50
- Sunday/Statutory Holidays 06:00-22:00: £37.50
- Sunday/Statutory Holidays 22:00-06:00: £43.75
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) for Council properties within the Vale.
- Install heat and carbon monoxide (CO) detectors to ensure compliance with housing requirements.
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks as required.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of tasks.
- Full and clean Driving Licence, including the PCV element.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in conducting EICRs and electrical installations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work across daytime and evening shifts as required.
