Electrical Security Engineer

Are you an Electrical Security Engineer, seeking your next role?

My client has an immediate opportunity for experienced and junior engineers to join their team on a permanent basis.

Ideally based in Cardiff, the successful applicants will complete weekly travel covering sites around the South of England and Wales.

Duties:
To provide effective support to the business by the way of installation and Commissioning of the following systems;

• Intruder Alarm Systems
• Access Control
• CCTV
• Fire Systems
• VESDA
• Remote Signalling Systems

Requirements:

• 18th Edition wiring regulations
• Proven technical background with a good knowledge of Intruder Alarm systems, CCTV and Access Control Systems and Remote Signalling systems.
• Familiar with British Standards relating to the above including PD662:2017, BS8243, BSEN50132
• Good understanding of DVR's and their capabilities
• Ability to organise workload from pre-issued planner to maximise efficiency and cost control
• Full Driving License
• Comfortable working at heights
• Comfortable working in confined spaces
• Travel and stay overnight, away from home
