Robert Half are recruiting for a leading manufacturing company based in Cardiff, dedicated to delivering high-quality products. As the continue to grow and adapt to the market, our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager for a 12-month interim contract to support the financial operations and strategic initiatives.

Job Title: Interim Finance Manager

Industry: Manufacturing

Contract: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the submission of month-end close. Preparation of routine monthly reporting schedules monitoring variances to budget, prior year and forecast.
Ensure all required statutory submissions (VAT Returns / Payments etc.)
Providing day-to-day authorisations, payments, credit notes etc.
Audit: Ensure accurate and timely statutory reporting.
Successfully complete YE-audits.

Financial analysis and business partnering with Senior Management
Cost Accounting, Inventory and Assets
Complete financial analysis of capital projects
Manage and complete budgeting/forecasting processes to corporate timelines

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
Proven experience as a Financial Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
